Trail Name: Chase Creek Falls
Distance: 600 meters
Time: 20 mins
Difficulty: Easy
Cell Service: Yes
Trail Conditions: Depending on water level, this trail is pretty straightforward single track and then over some river rocks.
To get there: From Kamloops, head East along the Trans-Canada Hwy. Continue on the highway for about 54kms. As you are passing Chase, keep an eye out for Coburn St on your left. Turn off the highway onto Coburn, and then take your next right onto Paquette Rd. Continue until you reach the compound at the end. You should see the parking area for Chase Creek Falls on your right. See it on Google Maps here.
In the past you used to be able to pull of the highway at the rest stop for Chase creek. Now, in order to access the falls, you must park in the area described above. Park here and follow the trail under the highway towards the creek. The trail is pretty straight forward and follows the creek a short ways up to the small waterfall.
In the spring, this trail might not be quite so accessible. However, later in the summer and early fall is the best time to check out this cute little hidden gem! This trail is suitable for the whole family including dogs. A great pitstop to stretch your legs on your way to the lake!
