To get there: Lac le Jeune is about a 30 minute drive out of Kamloops towards Merritt on the old Lac le Jeune highway. It’s a beauty of a drive. Get directions here.
Park off the side of the road near the entrance gate to the campground, and wander into the park. Oftentimes there is a trail that runs through the campsites and campground, and down to the beach and back. If there isn’t, you get to make your own path.
We went on a beautiful sunny day and looped through the campground and along the beach, dock and lake. The trail is not the same year after year, so we recommend following where ever the path leads you. We never meant to share this trail, so we have only a couple of photos to share below.
